Why Breast is Best! 8 Reasons Breastfeeding is NOT Overhyped.

Testimonials

“Absolutely brilliant course, with really useful information to help with pregnancy, labour and breastfeeding. We went into labour feeling prepared and calm because of this training, even the midwives at the hospital commented on this. The diet and exercise plan helped build up my wife’s body for labour, allowing her to have the birth she wanted. We highly recommend this course!” ~Josh & Amber, February 2025

“This course had really improved our knowledge on the progress and stages of labour, importance of breastfeeding and the vital role of the husband in childbirth. Even though we are both health practitioners, the method used by Lilian really brings out the practicality, reality of the process and made my husband and I to be more accountable.
Tracking my diet, exercises, relaxation etc made me feel really good that I’m doing myself and my baby well.

We will definitely recommend this course to pregnant couple as it is the best thing they can do for themselves and baby. It will keep them informed and help them make the best decision based on the information received.

It’s been a wonderful time taking these classes and we look forward to sharing our birth story soon.” ~David & Tolani, May 2024

“I wish every expectant mother would take this class! It is excellent! My husband and I learnt so much useful information. My labor went very smoothly and was very positive, and I put that down to all the preparation this class teaches you do to, and the knowledge it gives. It would likely not have gone so smoothly otherwise, as my sisters’ first labors did not go that well (they did not take this class). My husband had three children before our’s, and even he learnt a ton he never knew before. Because of this class, my husband was very involved in my labor, which was a critical part in making it a positive experience. This class prepared him for that. Lillian is a fantastic teacher, she really knows her subject. This class is definitely worth the time and money. Again, I just wish every expectant mother would take it! It would save so many women and babies from having traumatic birth experiences. I honestly doubt there is a better prenatal class out there!” ~ Edwin and Jessica, August 2023

“From the very first session we both felt instantaneously more confident with the stages of natural birthing. It has given us the knowledge and helped us with the preparation of the birth of our baby. We feel that from taking this course, we have become well informed and educated with the process of natural birth, and we feel we have the strength and ability to have a home birth, potentially a free birth!

Without the guidance and education from Lillian and Felipe, we would not have known, nor endured, on the path to a natural home birth. We cannot thank them enough for their wisdom and experience around this subject and, instead of feeling emotions such as anxiety, nervousness and unconfident, we now feel empowered, well informed and extremely capable with bringing our baby into this world as safely, calmly and relaxed as possible.

We also feel a lot more confident in expressing our wants and needs to whoever is caring for us throughout this process, rather than feeling bullied into submission with their concerns and interferences.

We cannot wait for the arrival of our baby, and will send an update on the birth imminently!” -Katie and Shaun, June 2023

“This course helped both of us to fully prepare and it took away the fear of being within the NHS system to have a natural birth. We feel have control over our own birth. This course also helped us to communicate better with our midwifes and improved our overall knowledge, knowing our rights as birthing parents. We both feel much more calmer and prepared for what is to come. We fully recommend this course and having Lillian as an instructor was both fun and educational and her level of support to us and the group was superb!” Charlene and Owen, Jan 2022

“I’m now 38 weeks pregnant and my husband and I are getting very excited! We’ll probably have more to say about how the Bradley method prepared us for labour and birth once we’ve actually been through it, but what we can say now, is that Lillian’s support, positivity, passion, excellent teaching and rigorously designed course content have been invaluable part of our pregnancy journey (especially in these strange times with the pandemic still ongoing). We started the course when I was at 29 weeks and didn’t know anything about labour, childbirth or newborn care. After only two weeks, we were already amazed at how much we’d learned and how much calmer we felt about the prospect of the labour and all the many things to prepare for. At first, we weren’t sure how the classes would be over Zoom, but it was just as easy to connect and learn online as in person. The classes with Lillian were such an essential part of our journey through this pregnancy, giving us confidence and helping us to now feel prepared and calm. The classes are not only packed with important knowledge, but engaging and fun, mixing videos and varying the content so that you have time to integrate all the information. We also enjoyed the session with Felipe, and hearing from past students about their experiences of labour and birth. We really looked forward to the classes every week, and can’t recommend them enough to any expecting couple, particularly, but not only, during these times when there are less resources available to expecting couples. Thank you Lillian!” ~Tasha & Jessy, Norwich, October 2020

“Lillian teaches a really fantastic course, with a great workbook and fun activities in class to really help the material sink in. Now armed with in-depth knowledge about the physiology of labor, relaxation tricks, and coaching tips, we feel ready for labor – and everything that comes after it. Thank you Lillian!” ~ Clara & Sultan, London

“The course is wonderful. We learned a lot about pregnancy, labour and breastfeeding in the course. The sharing of some formal students makes us more confident for the coming labour. One comment is that sometimes it is better to ask students to take turns to answer questions. We are not used to answer/ask questions proactively.” ~Chandler & Jane, Southampton, July 2020

“My perception of childbirth has changed from seeing it as a fearful experience that I couldn’t possibly achieve to a natural experience that I am so excited and positive about. I feel the Bradley classes have really deepened my knowledge about the antenatal period, childbirth, breastfeeding and aftercare. We are so happy to have made this investment (which was more than worth the 12 weeks). Thank you Lillian.” ~Ash & Linda, Southampton, March 2017

“Thank you very much for all your time and wisdom. I am so glad we found the Bradley info when we did helping us to prepare. Without having gone through those exercises in the book I would have been completely unprepared and out of my depth!” ~ Catherine & David, London, March 2015

“The course was very informative with lots of examples and exercises. I don’t even know how I could have thought that by simply refusing painkillers I would have a natural birth! We learned so much from Lillian…I am now fully confident that I can have a natural birth, empowered by the knowledge and with the support of my wonderful husband.” ~ Tunde & Ken, London, May 2015

“We can’t thank Lillian and this course enough for helping us go into labour feeling so empowered and prepared! Because of this course I understood how to mentally and physically prepare my body for giving birth and my husband was prepared to coach and encourage me through labour as well as advocate for our chosen birth plan. Knowing that he and I were equally educated, prepared and completely on the same page regarding how we wanted the birth to go brought me so much peace during the main event. He was able to advocate for me and help me stay focused on our birth plan because he knew what was happening in my body rather than being a nervous bystander. Our birth would not have gone as smoothly and calmly had we not taken this course.”
